I hope that as you are busy getting ready for Christmas, you will also make it a time of prayer. Most of us get so caught up with gifts and prayers ,that we forget that Jesus is at the center of the Christmas celebrations.
I try to keep myself grounded in prayer by saying a continual novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.I find that helps me to keep things in perspective. It is a wonderful prayer that contains a little bit of every thing.
Those who find themselves in Enugu, can even make their Christmas more special by going for adoration. You can either go for the special Christmas Adoration or regular Mass with Fr.Mbaka.
If you are in the diaspora, like a number of people,my friend ,John, says the best thing to do is to go to Mass, say your ‘Thank You Jesus’,rosary and then do a Family Adoration.
I would like other Adoration members to also share their thoughts on how they keep Christmas a time for prayer. We can all learn from each other and make our faith stronger,so that the evil one ,will not lead us away from our beloved Jesus.
We have to make sure we remember that we all have a role to play ,in helping each other live for the Glory of God.One way we do that is to pray and ask for Divine blessings, protection and Mercy.
